We follow a standard testing procedure for every product and agent service we review.
1. Ordering: We place an order through Superbuy or another agent, using a standard account. We record order date, agent response time, and any communication issues.
2. Shipping: We choose a common shipping line and track cost, delivery time, and tracking updates. We note packaging condition on arrival.
3. Inspection: At our Hong Kong desk, we open the parcel and inspect the item. We check materials, stitching, measurements, and fit. We compare against the product listing photos.
4. Scoring: We score on a five-point scale (5 = Excellent, 4 = Good, 3 = Adequate, 2 = Poor, 1 = Very Poor). Scores for products we physically test may range from 1 to 5, with unfavorable results explained as clearly as strengths.
5. Comparison: We test at least three similar products or shipping lines before finalizing a score. We publish comparison tables for agent fees and shipping costs.
6. Reassessment: A significant change in the item, agent service or shipping terms calls for another check. A published reassessment identifies its date and the evidence that changed.
Scope of the findings
A comparison identifies the three products or routes, their dates, inputs and any unequal conditions. Packaging, item fit and service timing receive separate findings rather than one unsupported impression.
