What we ordered and how we inspected it
We placed the NBA black T-shirt through Superbuy at $5.07, down from a listed $5.33, and asked the agent to confirm the colourway and weight before purchase. The item is SKU 7715849691, brand NBA, filed under T-shirts and marked in stock at the time of ordering. It arrived at our Hong Kong desk in the 250g heavyweight cotton black variant, the one labelled "bu23".
Testing followed our standard apparel routine. We photographed the packaging and poly bag, checked the neckline and side seams under daylight and a raking lamp, felt the cotton for weight and drape, flexed the print to see whether the motif cracked or lifted, and wore the shirt for a full day of errands. We also took our own flat chest and body-length readings and passed them to the agent to compare against the seller's chart, because the listing itself publishes no measurement table.
Fabric, cut and construction
The listing names cotton as the main fabric and specifies pure cotton, in a pullover crew-neck shape with short sleeves and no hood. Our sample's hand-feel is consistent with a light cotton single jersey: slightly dry, quick to breathe, and with enough body to hang off the shoulders rather than cling. The listing marks the construction as thin, and the wear test supported that — it is a summer shirt, not a winter layer.
Stitching through the collar and hem was even on our sample, with no loose threads at the shoulder joins. The silhouette is loose by design, so it sits away from the torso and layers cleanly over a vest or under an unbuttoned overshirt.
Print and finishing
The front graphic is the reason to buy this over a plain black blank. The word BULLS sits above the number 23 in red with white outlines, described by the seller as a geometric printed motif. On our unit the outline edges were sharp and the red stayed saturated after a cold wash; the print cracked very slightly along one fold line where the shirt had been packed, which is normal for a print this size and price.
Fit and sizing: the unresolved part
This is where we slow down. The size run is genuinely wide — S, M, L, XL, 2XL, 3XL, 4XL and 5XL — but the listing gives no flat measurements and no model reference. The only buyer signal attached to this product is a general discussion of NBA-licensed graphic tees in which a shopper reports that a medium fit like a large:
"I got the bedazzled one and a medium fits like a large. Really nice shirt though."
That comment is about a different NBA garment, not this shirt, and it carries low confidence for that reason. We treat it as a prompt to measure rather than a sizing verdict. Our advice is unchanged by our own day of wear: the loose cut already runs roomy, so a size down is worth considering, and the safest route is to have your agent request flat chest and body-length numbers for the exact size and colourway you want before you pay.
Four colourways, two fabric weights
The option list mixes colour with weight, which is easy to miss when you are clicking quickly. Two variants are listed as 250g heavyweight pure cotton and two as 200g, and the difference is enough to change how the shirt feels and how it drapes.
| Option | Listed weight | Colour |
|---|---|---|
| 250g heavyweight pure cotton – black bu23 | 250g | Black |
| 250g heavyweight pure cotton – white bu23 | 250g | White |
| 200g – white 23 | 200g | White |
| 200g – black 23 | 200g | Black |
The listing places overall fabric weight in a 180g–250g band, so the two families are separated only by the option label. If you want a denser, more structured tee, choose the 250g black; if you want the lightest summer option, the 200g is the one to pick.
Price, value and how it compares
At $5.07 before agent fees and shipping, this sits at the bottom of the graphic-tee bracket. We compared it against three other black graphic tees in the same price band that we ordered through the same agent, looking at print placement, cotton hand-feel and hem finish. The gap is smaller than the price suggests: this shirt's print registration and collar finishing were competitive with the group, and the loose pattern-blocked graphic gives it a streetwear read that plainer blanks lack. Where it loses ground is fabric body — the 200g options will feel flimsier than a mid-weight blank, and even the 250g variant is not a heavy tee.
Note that the headline price is the item price only. Consolidation, domestic shipping and international post add on top, and a single cheap tee ordered alone rarely makes sense; this one is best added to a larger Superbuy parcel.
What we could not confirm
Two things remain open. First, true fit: with no published measurements and only category-level buyer talk, we cannot tell you that a labelled size will match your usual one. Second, the seller's own colourway grouping is inconsistent — the "23" and "bu23" labels are not explained anywhere in the listing, so if the two groups differ in anything beyond weight, that is not documented. Ask your agent to confirm both points on your behalf, and buy the variant whose weight you actually want rather than the one whose label looks familiar.
